Class 2 – Business Development & Monetization Strategy

  • Write a Business Plan
  • Is there an ideal structure?
  • Develop Marketing Plan/ Business Identity
  • Secure Intellectual Property Rights [If necessary]

Class 3 – Business & Financial Strategy

  • Finance Your Business
  • Select Business Name and Legal Structure
  • Register Business Entity with Utah Division of Corporations
  • Obtain Federal Employer Identification Number (EIN)
  • Reserve Website URL/Assets and Social Media Accounts
  • Apply for Appropriate Business License
  • Establish Business Bank Account and Payment Collection Options
  • Acquire General Liability Insurance

Class 4 – Record-keeping & Scaling the Business

  • Set up Accounting and Record Keeping Systems
  • Hire and Train Employees
  • Network with Local Business Community
  • Continue to Assess & Improve
